JOHANNESBURG – As the City of Cape Town is making progress on their water augmentation programme, the residents have shared their jubilation of the recent days of much need rainfall.
Capetonians showed their appreciation for the downpour as the Easter weekend started.
The City’s water restrictions have been in full effect since 1 February. The date for Day Zero is yet to be updated.
Residents have been encouraged to limit their consumption to a daily us of 50 litres per person per day or less.
Cape residents took to twitter to share their images and thankfulness for the unexpected showers.
