JOHANNESBURG - Former South African president Jacob Zuma has decided to move with the times and join the social media scene.
“Hello, everyone. I have decided to move with times to join this important area of conversation because I hear that many people are talking about me,” he said in the video.
Zuma's announcement prompted the hashtag UBaba and soon it trended.
His account, @PresJGZUMA is already garnering interest, securing thousands of followers in a matter of hours.
Meanwhile, Zuma was quick to dismiss a post purporting to fundraise for Zuma's legal fees.
