JOHANNESBURG - Actor Jake Gyllenhaal will be starring the new Spider-Man sequel.

Gyllenhaal confirmed in a video posted on Instagram that he will be playing the classic Mysterio in the upcoming movie Spider-Man Far From Home.

Spider-man: Far from home will see Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) travelling to Europe and will also be starring Samuel L. Jackson, Jacob Batalon and Zendaya.

The first official trailer for the movie will be released on 8 December during the Sony Panel at Comic-Con Experience in San Paulo, Brazil.
