JOHANNESBURG - If you were planning on going on a cruise this year, you may want to scrap that.
MSC, one of the world's largest privately-owned cruise ship companies, has cancelled voyages in South Africa until at least November.
Cruise ships have been banned in the country as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
MSC says it has been engaging with officials since March last year on coronavirus safety protocols.
The company says it has met the requirements to operate safely, but it's still waiting for approval to sail.
