SA tourism on the road to recovery

JOHANNESBURG - South African tourism is on the road to recovery.

The sector took a huge knock these past two years due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Africa’s Travel Indaba 2022 begins on Tuesday in Durban.

18 African countries will hold meetings and exchange ideas.

Chief Convention Bureau Officer for SA Tourism Amanda Kotze-Nhlapo said, “we are all here in KwaZulu-Natal ready to wow the world."

"We’re gathering over the period of three days and we will have thousands of meetings between exhibitors and buyers. We have 18 countries that will gather to meet the work."
