CAPE TOWN - In the next few weeks South Africa's favourite talent search show, SA's Got Talent, will be crowning its new winner.

And there's one act that is making waves and breaking barriers.

The first female impersonator got the nod for the semi-finals this coming weekend.

A music video by local electronic due, The Kiffness, featuring Cape Town drag artist Manilla Von Teez, is set to break down walls and eradicate the stigma around female impersonators.

It doesn't end there, Von Teez is setting the bar even higher.

She's the first drag artist, to make it through to the semis of SA's Got Talent, despite being warned by judges that she most likely won't make it through.
