JOHANNESBURG - With the festive season now in full swing, the partying in the Mother City is only just getting started.
On Sunday, the streets of Cape Town were filled with revelry as the city marked its 50th Festival of Lights.
Over 80,000 people turned out to see Adderley Street lit up in hopes of a prosperous 2020.

A star-studded line-up including the Ndlovu Youth Choir, Sho Madjozi and YoungstaCPT entertained the crowds.
The city says it spent about R4,5-million on the event.
