Spain to lift outdoor mask requirement

MADRID - Spain will be lifting the legal requirement to wear masks in public.

The prime minister made the announcement on Friday.

The decision will be put through to cabinet next week but the aim is to have the requirement lifted by 26 June.

Spain has recorded more than three million COVID-19 cases and more than 80,000 deaths.
