International Women’s day 2018 to #PressforProgress

JOHANNESBURG – The eighth of March marks International Women’s Day, a movement to highlight the unending fight for gender equality.



In the past year the #MeToo and Time’s Up slogans have shifted the conversation internationally regarding power and gender.

According to reports, the original acknowledged Women’s Day was hosted in 1909 in New York.



Women from around the world are hosting walks, talks, networking events and marches to campaign for this year’s theme, which is #PressforProgress.
