JOHANNESBURG - Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi received a warm welcome at the Mthatha Airport in the Eastern Cape.
Hundreds of people expressed their excitement and joy as Tunzi arrived at the airport on Sunday afternoon.
Tunzi, who is originally from Sidwadweni in Tsolo, took to Instagram and thanked everyone who had come to see her at the airport.
"I have never in my life imagined coming home would be like this. It is indeed true that it takes a village to raise a child. Thank you kubantu bakuTsolo nase Mthatha for coming to see me at the airport. I'm forever greatful", said Tunzi.
Tunzi was crowned the winner of Miss SA earlier this month and walked away with prizes worth more than R3-million.
