JOHANNESBURG - Inspired, no doubt, by a good old love story, South African social media users are rallying behind a couple after a video of their proposal at a KFC outlet went viral.

On Thursday afternoon, KFC posted a video calling for people to help find them.

"Mzansi please help us find this beautiful couple, re batla ho ba blesser. DM us any leads, there might be a Finger Lickin' Good surprise in it for you too. Batho ba Vaal re thuseng! We love love", read the caption.

The video, which has been viewed more than 500,000 times has caused a buzz on social with several people and companies pledging to contribute towards the wedding.

Twitter user @alphi_s posted on Friday morning that he had found the couple and would meet them.
