JOHANNESBURG - There has been a feeling of doom and gloom after Eskom recently implemented load-shedding.
Despite a possible break this week, it would appear the rolling blackouts are still here to stay -- in the medium-term, at least.
Psychologist Jeremy Bayer says there are many things families can do during blackouts.
"Listen to your children, don't judge your children, maybe your child is holding back that they're gay.
"Don't judge them, maybe this is an opportunity to talk about these things," said Bayer.
Families are also encouraged to play games, read books and bond through conversations during load-shedding.
