Brooks is only 16-years old but already he is a musical talent to be reckoned with.

When he was 13, he was appointed the youngest-ever concert master of the Cape Town Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Last year, he won the National Youth Music Competition and now, the young violinist is a proud scholarship holder for the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester, in the UK.

The scholarship opportunity came quickly and unexpectedly in the midst of lockdown.
