JOHANNESBURG - The closure of retailer Stuttafords left hundreds of people unemployed.

Recruitment company Lulaway has now offered to help the retrenched staff create profiles and schedule interviews for them.

Close to 250 retrenched workers from Stuttafords have the opportunity to create full profiles to enable recruitment company Lulaway to start scheduling interviews with participating retailers.

CEO of Lulaway Jake Willis says businesses including Dischem, H&M, MR Price, Ackermans have committed to employing some of the workers.

So far, around 200 of the 700 people stand to be employed through this initiative.
