Eleven people have been killed after a taxi collided with a bakkie on the R612 in southern KwaZulu-Natal.
The crash occurred earlier on Thursday.
Three trucks were also involved in the accident between Ixopo and Highflats in the Harry Gwala District.
Paramedics treated 12 patients, many in critical condition.
