COVID-19 In SA: 1,187 new cases, 59 deaths

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa has recorded 1,187 new cases and 59 more deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours.

41 of the deaths were in Gauteng and Mpumalanga.

The recovery rate stands at 95-percent.

There are 21,981 active cases nationwide.
