JOHANNESBURG - Fifteen people will appear in court on Tuesday accused of COVID-19 corruption in the SAPS.
Two are current police officers and six are former members of the force. The rest are people connected to suppliers.
They are all accused of unlawfully benefiting from R1.9-million PPE procurement in 2020.
They were nabbed by a task force appointed by the Police Commissioner and the National Prosecuting Authority.
They face charges of fraud, theft and corruption.
More arrests are said to be expected.
