The Congress of Traditional Leaders of South Africa's says over 100 boys have been rescued from a bogus initiation school and is calling on communities to report suspicious activities in their areas.

Contralesa representative, Zolani Mkiva said, "in the Eastern Cape alone, 11 boys have passed on, that gives us a total of 18 since the season began."

"This ritual is very important as we have rescued 100 boys in the Eastern cape and more than 60 in Gauteng…we're going to win this battle in the final analysis."
