JOHANNESBURG - Three people have died due to coronavirus-related complications in the past 24 to 48 hours.
Over 2,100 new COVID-19 cases were recorded.

This takes the number of active cases in South Africa to 34,023.
Gauteng reported most of the cases with more than 770 infections followed by Western Cape with 510 cases.
More than 25,000 tests were conducted with the test positivity rate now at 8.4 percent.
