JOHANNESBURG - The next batch of 80,000 Johnson & Johnson vaccines will arrive on Saturday.
Health Minister Zweli Mkhize made the announcement during a Parliamentary debate on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout.

"We have joined more than 87 countries globally in the next phase of our fight against COVID-19," Mkhize said.
"It's also my pleasure to announce that the next batch of 80,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines will arrive this Saturday."
At the same debate, ANC MP Kenneth Leonard Jacobs called on all political parties to put their differences aside and work together in the fight against COVID-19.
Jacobs says government has been following scientific advice in the vaccine acquirements and the rollout.
