JOHANNESBURG - Nehawu has dismissed government's vaccine roll out plan as ambiguous and lacking in detail.
The union has criticised government's delays, saying money for the vaccine should have always been available.
On Sunday, Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize, said healthcare workers will receive the first batch in the second quarter of this year. Nehawu says the delays will kill a lot more people before the vaccine arrives.
The union is also worried about private healthcare providers being involved, as it says they prioritise profits over lives.
