JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's recovery rate has climbed to 89.5%.
Over 583,000 people have recovered from the virus.
Sadly, the country has recorded 142 more COVID-19 deaths, bringing the death toll to 15,641.
The number of new infections continues to decline.
The Health Department recorded 772 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24-hours.
