HARARE - Zimbabwean journalist Hopewell Chin'ono says journalists in the country are working under tough conditions.
Chin'ono recently received The 2020 People Journalist Award for Informed Community.
The award is by the Gatefield's People Journalism Fund, which recognises journalists and social justice newsmakers on the continent.
eNCA Zimbabwe correspondent Pindai Dube sat down with Chin'ono to discuss the award and the work he does.
Chin'ono has been jailed several times, and his reports on the alleged looting of funds meant for COVID-19 have led to the axing of a health minister.
