JOHANNESBURG - Leader of the African Christian Democratic Party Kenneth Meshoe confirmed on Friday that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Meshoe was tested last week Sunday after attending a religious gathering which included seven visitors from abroad, five have subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.

Christian evangelist Angus Buchan was also amongst the attendees and announced he had tested positive on Thursday.
