Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan and the Eskom board seem to be in the dark on solutions.
JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has no plans of implementing Stage 5 load-shedding just yet.
According to a statement from the parastatal, additional stages are just contingency measures which have been put in place.
The power utility says it remains in control of the system.
Stage 4 will continue to be implemented to avoid a national blackout.
