JOHANNESBURG - Africa has reported its sixth case of the coronavirus.

Algeria now has two more cases and Egypt detected its second case.

Meanwhile, the US recorded the second death in the state of Washington.

The epidemic has claimed more than 3,000 lives globally.

Locally, government says it will repatriate as many as 151 South Africans from the coronavirus epicentre in Wuhan, China.

They will be confined to a secure location under quarantine.
