JOHANNESBURG - Sivuyile Ngodwana has been elected Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality mayor.
Ngodwana is a member of the African Independent Congress.
Tania Campbell was ousted on Thursday in a motion of no confidence.
Ngodwana says the municipality will address challenges faced by residents.
He says political parties should work together to prioritise service delivery.
