Amcu slams Department of Mineral Resources

DURBAN - Trade union Amcu stated the Mineral Resources Department failed to inspect the Lily mine to check if required procedures were being followed.

Amcu president, Joseph Mathunjwa said, "If the DMR was instrumental to release the funds and give them to Guptas, why have they not given Lily mine money to retrieve the container."

"They could have picked up that the mine is mining the crown pillar which was holding the surface," he added.
