JOHANNESBURG - The ANC's National Executive Committee (NEC) has named Job Mokgoro as the party's premier candidate of the North West.
The decision was made during their meeting in Cape Town.
Described as an experienced and strict administrator, Mokgoro ascended to the high office in the North West on 22 June 2018, following the resignation of his predecessor Supra Mahumapelo.
Mahumapelo resigned as premier following intense protests in the province.
The ANC has managed to retain the North West province with 61.87 percent of the vote in 2019 election.
