KANNALAND - The embattled Kannaland Municipality in the Western Cape could very well be the first to collapse, following a failed coalition post the local government elections.
The ANC duo of mayor and deputy mayor refuse to give up their seats despite their leadership suspending them over a lack of consultation.

The pair took over the posts after a motion of no confidence against convicted criminals ICOSA's Jeffrey Donson and Werner Meshoa.
It's left the municipality in limbo with no decision-making taking place.
