ANC to give update on controversial PPE tender

The provincial ANC will brief the media today on a PPE tender implicating Presidential spokesperson, Khusela Diko, and Gauteng Health MEC, Bandile Masuku. JOHANNESBURG - The ANC is expected to report back on the probe into the R125-million PPE tender scandal.

Senior officials are linked to the tender including the President’s Spokesperson Khusela Diko, and Gauteng Health MEC Bandile Masuku.

There have been growing calls for them to step aside.

This follows revelations that the company belonging to Diko's husband, was awarded a multi-million rand PPE contract by the Gauteng government.

Both Masuku and Diko have met with the provincial secretary, Jacob Khawe.
