CAPE TOWN - The High Court in the Western Cape has kicked out an urgent application by ANC MP Mervyn Dirks.
He was challenging his temporary suspension.
Dirks tried to block the ANC from replacing him so that his petition to Scopa could be properly ventilated.
He was suspended over calls for President Cyril Ramaphosa to answer to allegations of the misappropriation of state funds.
But the judge found that his case wasn’t urgent and struck it off the roll with costs
