JOHANNESBURG - Tourism Minister Lindiwe Sisulu could well find herself before the ANC's integrity commission if some NEC members have their way.
It follows a public spat with President Cyril Ramaphosa over her controversial comments on the judiciary.
Her statements earned her a verbal reprimand from Acting Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.
The Presidency issued a statement saying she had apologised, but Sisulu denied it.
The ANC NEC held a two-day meeting ahead of the party's Lekgotla this weekend.
Sources in favour of Sisulu appearing before the integrity commission say her public utterances may have brought the ANC into disrepute.
Key ANC veterans are said to be behind the call for Sisulu to explain herself.
