JOHANNESBURG - The ANC has reiterated its support to the state capture inquiry despite allegations of corruption being levelled against its own members.

Several officials have been implicated for corruption in the revelations of former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi.

The governing party's national executive committee is meeting in Irene this weekend.

“The ANC continues to support the work of the Zondo Commission, we continue to call all those who have information to come forward and help the commission to establish the seriousness of the allegations that have been made about state capture,” said acting ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa.

“It is very important because at the end of the work of the commission we must bring back and restore the credibility of the democratic state.”
