PRETORIA - ANC Tshwane members have taken their grievances to the Gauteng Legislature on Monday.
They're protesting over the party's candidates list for the local government elections.
They say the list is flawed.
"The majority of the people who are on the lists are people who are in the favour of the regional secretary of ANC in Tshwane [Eugene Modise]," said Thabiso Phatsoane, an ANC Tshwane member.
"When we told them there are some irregularities in the lists, they said all the branches that feel like the processes didn't go well, they must write their disputes. The majority of the branches have written their disputes and today as we speak, their disputes did not go in their favour because of the brown envelope that goes within the PLC members."
