Arts Minister urges Babes Wodumo to take legal action

JOHANNESBURG - Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa is calling on South African singer, Babes Wodumo to press charges against boyfriend Mampintsha.

This comes after a live Instagram video showing Wodumo being assaulted by the Kwaito star on Sunday.

Mampintsha is then seen slapping Wodumo several times.

People are expressing outrage at the assault.

The kwaito star is known to have hit Wodumo before.
