CAPE TOWN - Former Democratic Alliance Chief Whip in Cape Town Shaun August says the party has not transformed.
August claims the DA has a black leader to attract votes.
He and four other DA councillors resigned after Patricia De Lille's farewell speech to council, in solidarity with the outgoing mayor.
They are citing rampant racism within the DA.
