JOHANNESBURG - Bantu Church of Christ has dismissed a suggestion that ANC President, Cyril Ramaphosa, asked them to dump the newly formed political party, ATM, and endorse the ANC instead.
Ramaphosa visited the Port Elizabeth-based church while on the campaign trail in the Eastern Cape last week.
He held a private meeting with Bishop John Bolani.

The church says everyone is welcome and it won't endorse any political party.
Bantu Church of Christ deacon Thamsanqa Phechudi said Ramaphosa's visit was for blessings.
“Bantu Church of Christ is a church and it does not have a political party,” said Phechudi.
