JOHANNESBURG - Real estate group Remax is warning of a new property scam.
The group says scammers are becoming more brazen, pretending to be estate agents before robbing victims of money for a property they are not in a legal position to offer for rent or sale.
Many have profiles on social media and claim to work for a well-known property group.
Remax urges buyers to visit only legitimate property sites.
