Bleak week as Eskom implements week-long blackouts

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom will implement stage 2 power cuts from 5pm until 10pm on Sunday.

It will ramp up to stage 3 from Monday and Tuesday, at the same time.

For the rest of the week, you can expect stage 2 from 5pm to 10pm.

Since Saturday night, there's been consistent breakdowns at three of South Africa's major power stations.
