Black First Land First's National Convener Andile Mngxitama said the FF+ is not following the letter of the law as they did not object to the party's registration within thirty days of its creation.

Mngxitama responded to questions about whether their party ascribed to non-racialism.

"I do not answer to land thieves. We are a black consciousness organisation who represent black people in their country."
