JOHANNESBURG - As the number of coronavirus infections and deaths continues to rise, the first suspected case is a mere hour's flight away from Johannesburg.

The Botswana government has stated on Friday, saying the case was registered at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport.
The patient arrived on an Emirates flight from China and the Botswana Ministry of Health says the patient is now in isolation at a local clinic.
The coronavirus is now a global health emergency with a death toll of up to 200 and over 9000 infections.
