Busa supports mandatory vaccinations

JOHANNESBURG - Business Unity SA says the country needs to vaccinate as many people as possible.

The organisation believes this is the only way to get back to normality.

It's pushing for vaccine mandates at workplaces.

Business Unity South Africa's Cas Coovadia said: "We're saying let's follow the science.

"This is a health issue having a significant impact on people's lives and [the] economy. We're saying let's shift the debate from whether we should be vaccinated to saying we need to get many of our people vaccinated as quickly as possible and to ensure we enable a situation where we get back to normality."
