More police in Sydenham after 'drug hit'

DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal police admit there's a drug problem in the Sydenham area, just outside Durban.

A man was shot dead outside the Lenmed Shifa Private Hospital on Thursday in what is believed to be a hit.

Police are warning against the distribution of inflammatory social media messages the man's death.

Over 300 people have been arrested for drug dealing in just six months and there are fears of more violence after Thursday’s murder.
