Public transport is hoping to adapt to the new normal using camera technology to enhance safety on public buses while reducing the spread of COVID-19

Compliance to lockdown regulations has been preached by Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula.

With more people commuting to work on level three public transport needs to adapt with the times.

Putco says the move to install the cameras is to assess passenger behavior.

Netstar equipped over 1,400 buses with these cameras.
