CAPE TOWN - He's not Superman, Batman or the Hulk like these crime-fighting heroes, but a Cape Town man sprang into action to help a total stranger on a train last week.

The 44-year-old came to the aid of a fellow commuter to fend off a couple of armed robbers.

Cape Town trains are not for the faint-hearted.

Both were dressed in school uniform.
