Cape residents think the army deployed to wrong place

CAPE TOWN - The army has been deployed in the Western Cape to monitor crime and gangsterism.

The military is expected to be there for three months.

Residents of Hanover Park and Manenberg are welcoming the deployment, but some community members believe the army has been sent to the wrong area.

Phillipi East residents have stated the three months of planned military intervention will not be enough to quell the scourge of gangsterism.
