A court case involving a former nursery school employee in Carltonville has been postponed to next month.

JOHANNESBURG - A court case involving a former nursery school employee in Carletonville has been postponed to next month.

Nelly Senwametsi was earlier convicted of two counts of common assault and one of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to three children aged four.

A psychologist testified on Wednesday that the children will experience lifelong trauma and will have heightened anxiety and stress levels when dealing with stressful situations.

The defence requested more time to research and prepare for cross-examination due to the evidence presented by the psychologist.
