PRETORIA - Suspended prosecutor Lawrence Mrwebi’s cross-examination continues at the Mokgoro Inquiry on Friday.
On Thursday, Mrwebi said there was no evidence linking former crime intelligence boss Richard Mdluli to wrongdoing.
He was being questioned about the withdrawal of the charges of fraud and corruption against Mdluli.
Meanwhile, suspended Deputy National Prosecution Authority boss Nomgcobo Jiba testified on Thursday that those who have made allegations against her, resent her success.
Jiba has also spoken about how she felt betrayed by her colleagues, who have accused her of derailing high profile investigations.
The Mokgoro Commission of Inquiry is looking into Advocate Lawrence Mrwebi and Jiba's fitness to hold office.
