City of Johannesburg's public libraries reopen

JOHANNESBURG - The City of Johannesburg's public libraries reopened on Monday.

They were closed in line with COVID-19 lockdown regulations.

MMC for Community Development Margaret Arnolds said: "We are now going to open up for people to come and loan the books.

"We are also going to open up for people to come in and study and use our computers in libraries.... so that those who want to read and study... now at least it is going to open up and get back to normality."
